Summer Day and Night QAL Block 3 and Other Random Stuff

Hello everyone! No, I have not fallen off the face of the earth...just off the face of blog land. I have had a busy few days and have done some sewing but mostly have been doing other things.

On Friday I spur of the moment decided I should probably have a garage sale on Saturday. So, that took up Friday and Saturday. Then yesterday we invited my husbands family over for a cookout for Father's Day and ended up going boating. That was...an adventure. We may or may not have ran out of gas, turns out the gas gauge is NOT very accurate. But the views were gorgeous.

Today I decided to rearrange our bedroom. Moving a king size bed by yourself is a bit of a struggle to say the least...my dogs tried to help.

Okay. Back to what is really important...sewing! Today I made block 3 in the quilt along. I have a picture of the block and a picture of it along with the previous two blocks. I am considering making these blocks into throw pillows for our sectional, but I will probably make the quilt. It was just an idea.

  1. I love the idea of using your quilt blocks for throw pillows. Then they can be out and enjoyed all the time. Thank you for linking up at the #StitchItBlogItShareIt Link Party. I hope you'll join us again every Sunday night at 7pm.

  3. What a great block! Love the color and fabric choice, so fresh makes me think of ice cold cocktails and the sun. :D

Found you on Let's Bee Social.

    Cheers,
